This year, the Festival will be held on September 29 at the Goodwill Community Center and October 5 & 6 at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar.

The Lookout: September 29th

On Goodwill Night, we will feature The Lookout, about a traumatic brain injury survivor who gets caught up in a heist scheme.

We'll also show a variety of staff-selected international shorts. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments provided by Goodwill.

The Master of the Flying Guillotine: October 5th

On October 5, get ready for an action packed night with The Master of the Flying Guillotine, a classic Kung Fu film where a one-armed swordsman is pitted against a deadly blind assassin.

After the film, audiences will enjoy a live demonstration by All Star Karate, a martial arts group made up of people with disabilities.

Shooting Beauty: October 6th

On October 6, the Festival will turn to the fine arts, featuring Shooting Beauty, a documentary about photographers with severe mobility impairments. This film inspired us to launch our own photography competition, Adjusted Lens, whose winners will be announced and recognized at the Festival.

In addition, selected winners from CTD's Pen 2 Paper Creative Writing Contest will present their work between screenings.

Division Screenings

We expect the 6th year of our Short Film Competition to be the biggest yet, with entrants from all over the globe. The Scholastic Division finalists will be screened on October 5 and the Emerging Division, October 6.
