Take Action: Restore Children’s Medicaid Cuts!
We have just a few days left to focus on getting Medicaid funding for children with disabilities restored! We are thankful to the Texas House for unanimously passing HB 25 last week to partially restore cuts to Medicaid funding for children with disabilities.
Please help us move this along by contacting our Governor & Lieutenant Governor so this can move to the Senate!
Disability rights groups are united in supporting the restoration of Medicaid funding cuts to Early Childhood Intervention for children ages 0-3 with disabilities in Texas. Since the cuts were made in 2015, ECI centers have closed in areas of Texas, leaving children without access to treatment during a critical developmental stage.
Please join us in asking Governor Greg Abbott and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to restore funding for Early Childhood Intervention therapies during this Special Session.
