In 2025, Cinema Touching Disability took place Saturday, September 20 at the Long Center in Austin. This year's offerings included screenings of winners and official selections of this year’s international short film competition and more!

Cinema Touching Disability is open to the public. Tickets this year are priced on a sliding scale starting at $7.50. Incidental costs like parking, snacks, and drinks are not included in the price of the ticket. If cost is a barrier, you can request comped tickets by emailing filmfest@txdisabilities.org. If tickets sell out, we will have a wait list online and at the door.

Things to note!

Eat first! While you can grab a snack and drink at the concessions stand during the Fest, more substantial food will not be available. Please plan accordingly.

About access: we'll be back in the Long Center's Rollins Theater, which will have open seating, with unattached chairs on a level floor, and some tables for those who need a surface. All films will be screened with open captions, and ASL interpretation will be provided for all spoken portions of the Festival. Live audio description devices will be available.

About parking: Garage parking includes accessible spaces, and a limited number of parking spaces out front will be available. You must email us before the Festival if you need one of the spaces out front. There will be no valet this year.
