Cinema Touching Disability Film Festival
In 2024, Cinema Touching Disability takes place Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28, at the Long Center in Austin. This year's offerings include screenings of winners and official selections of this year’s international short film competition and more!

Cinema Touching Disability is open to the public. Tickets this year are priced on a sliding scale starting at $5. Incidental costs like parking, snacks, and drinks are not included in the ticket. Comped tickets are available if cost is a barrier, you can request comped tickets by emailing filmfest@txdisabilities.org. If tickets sell out, we will have a wait list online and at the door.
Regarding access, the theater will have open seating, with unattached chairs on a level floor, and some tables for those who need a surface. All films will be screened with open captions, and ASL interpretation will be provided for all spoken portions of the Festival. Audio description devices and sound amplification devices will be available. Garage parking includes accessible spaces, and paid valet parking is available by request.
