People dressed as variations of the Lion, the Tin Woman, and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz stare with varying levels of dismay at a piecemeal ScareCrow.

Financed by a passionate fan base through Kickstarter, The Little Tin Man is a small, indie darling with big upside. It's the heartfelt story of Herman, a struggling actor with dwarfism who is tired of being "overlooked" for bigger roles. Determined to be seen as a leading man, Herman sets out to be cast as the Tin Man in Martin Scorsese's remake of The Wizard of Oz.

Comedian-Filmmaker David Wain calls it, "A funny and touching look into a side of show business that most of us never think about."

Newcomer Aaron Beelner stars alongside Kay Cannon (Writer/Producer of Pitch Perfect, New Boy, 30 Rock), making her lead acting debut as Herman's average-sized best friend, Miller. The cast also features Jeff Hiller (30 Rock, Ghost Town), Chris Henry Coffey (Trust, The Good Husband), Michael McGlone (The Brothers McMullen, Person of Interest) and many hilarious favorites from the renowned Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Broadway. The film was written by Dugan Bridges & Matthew Perkins and marks Perkins' directorial debut.
