Raise Your Voice! Advocacy Training

Event date: 4/6/2017, 10:00am | Location: Austin, TX

Raise Your Voice!

Join CTD for this year's rally and advocacy day on community living and providing critical support to the community attendant workforce! The freedom for all to work, live, learn, play, and participate fully in one’s community of choice is written directly into our mission. Add your voice with ours to encourage decision-makers to increase independence and access for Texans with disabilities, wherever they choose to be.

Our training will prepare you to speak directly to legislative staff on the issues of attendant wages, Medicaid waiver interest lists, and more. Don't Myth with Texas Rally (with The Arc of Texas) and office visits to follow the training. Space is limited, so register or apply for a stipend today!

Have questions about this event? Never been to an advocacy training or rally? Check out our RYV! FAQ!
